As a claimant, you are responsible for substantiating your claim, and providing the necessary information.  Failure to provide requested documentation may result in the delay or denial of your claim.

A detailed description of the loss or damage must be stated:

  • list of commodities,
  • quantity of each type,
  • extent of loss,
  • value of each piece,
  • any salvage realized,
  • net loss,
  • description of the events which caused the loss.
